Okie beauties its time to chat about soap!! I am going to break down the preconceptions about bars of soap! .
.
What is the is the difference between a bar of soap and liquid soap? A bar is soap is made up of a combination of fats/oils, water and an alkali. Liquid soap usually (unless handmade) is a synthetic detergent made of compounds rather then fats/oils. .
.
Soap bars are not “dirty” as some people may think 🤔. They do not harbour Bactria. If you if you are worried simply trinse off the bar before use. This removes the outer layer of the soap to reveal fresh soap underneath. Studies show that even when Bactria is put onto a bar of soap, using it does not transfer said germs 🦠 etc. BARS= Clean. .
.
Did you know handcrafted soap bars are more kind to your hands/skin. That’s because makers like me add in something called a super fat. It means there are more Molecules of oils/fats left to nourish your skin. This is helpful to know as mass produced soap may dry out your skin.
.
.
Bars also mean less plastic! This helps our environment 🌎 and produces less waste. Also crafting bars produces less emissions. So you can rest easy knowing your local sourced handmade bars keep your eco footprint 👣 to a minimum. .
.
As always the choice is up to you bathing beauties. Soap bars vs Liquid soap. The choice should always be to soap up, which ever you choose. .
